Special Photoshoot for American Families in Turin – Thanksgiving
It was a true pleasure to create a photoshoot for an American family in Turin for Thanksgiving. Coming from cold Boston, this wonderful family chose the Piedmontese capital to spend a few days on vacation and discover its timeless elegance. Both professors at Harvard, they were fascinated by the city’s historical and artistic heritage, while little Caleb made every moment lively with his contagious energy.
Although it was late November, the climate in Turin seemed incredibly mild to them compared to the harsh winters of New England. The entire photoshoot was a journey through the city’s most iconic squares, capturing the authenticity of their smiles and the beauty of Turin’s architecture.
Between Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo: The Elegant Heart of Turin
Our photoshoot for American families in Turin began in Piazza Castello, the beating heart of the city, with its majestic Royal Palace and elegant arcades. We then strolled along Via Roma, with its refined shops and lively atmosphere, until we reached Piazza San Carlo, known as the “drawing room of Turin” thanks to its historic cafes and twin churches.
In this context, the family was able to immerse themselves in the authentic soul of the city, amidst history, culture, and a touch of magic.

One of the most fascinating places we explored was the courtyard of the Boutique San Carlo since 1973, a small urban garden that gave a touch of charm to our shots. A little further on, the majestic Urban Forest of the Gallerie d’Italia, inside the headquarters of Banca San Paolo, amazed the family with its evocative and contemporary atmosphere.
Between a chat and a click, we arrived in Piazza Carignano, which fascinated the family with its Baroque elegance. Afterwards, we made a stop in the Galleria Subalpina, evocative and lively thanks to the presence of the Turin Film Festival, which in those days filled the city with a cultural and dynamic atmosphere.
To conclude in style, we headed towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the Murazzi del Po, with the iconic backdrop of the Church of Monte dei Cappuccini, where we took the last shots of this exciting report.
An authentic memory of their trip to Turin
Finally, we concluded the photoshoot for American families in Turin along the Murazzi del Po, an extraordinary panoramic point with a spectacular view of the Church of Monte dei Cappuccini. The golden sunset made the last images even more evocative, with the perfect light to enhance the intensity of the gazes and the beauty of the city.
